Movie (screen):
  1. Fathers and Sons (2004) .... Silvia
  2. The Wedding Planner (2001) .... Mrs. Kitty Donolly

  4. Road Ends (1997) .... Armacost
... aka Safe House (UK: DVD title)
  5. American Perfekt (1997) .... Shirley
While not a big role, she was with her husband Chris. I love her role in this film - the town's drunken whore. Always a classic.
  6. Boogie Nights (1997) .... Dirk's mother
Another smaller role, but being in a famous movie never hurt anyone. I can often reference her short screen time in this film alone to tell people who Joanna is.
  7. Edie & Pen (1997) .... Maude
... aka Desert Gamble (UK: TV title)
  8. Mr. Holland's Opus (1995) .... Gertrude Lang (clarinet player) as an adult
While this was a short role for her, I found it interesting as she played the grown up character played by Alicia Witt. If you're a fan of Witt maybe Joanna is who Alicia will grow up to be like in real life.
  9. F/X2 (1991) .... Liz Kennedy, Assistant DA
... aka F/X 2: The Deadly Art of Illusion
Not a hudge role for her, but I loved how she turned out to be the super villan at the end.

  25. "ER" playing "Iris" in episode: "The Match Game" (episode # 2.17) 28 March 1996
I find these appearances on ER to be funny because Joanna played a love interest of Dr. Green. Well, a few seasons later Dr. Green needed brain surgery, and who showed up to perform the role of the surgeon? Joanna's real life husband Chris Sarandon.
